For skimming high viscosity product, such as oils or heavily degraded diesel. 100mm or larger wells
Features and Specifications
- For skimming product with a viscosity higher than 16 cSt (80 SSU)
- The high viscosity skimmer is the same design as the standard skimmer (TR-517) but excludes a hydrophobic element or bypass element. The density float sits just above the product-water interface, allowing product to flow through a screened opening in the centre. Suction from a FAP Plus™ ZW pump recovers product to the surface storage tank
- Product is removed to thickness of about 6-12mm. Adjustable in the field to achieve an even thinner layer
- Effective travel of 750mm
- ‘Zero Water’ compatible when used with the F.A.P Plus™ ZW Pump.
